Meet Dean Martin
Dean Martin is a lifelong Tulsa Republican, dedicated man of faith, family man, and businessman with a servant’s heart. He’s lived in Tulsa County and has been deeply involved with business interests, nonprofits, schools, and the Tulsa community since 1963. He attended Tulsa Public Schools, graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1972, and earned a degree from Oklahoma State University in 1977.
More About Dean
Longtime Tulsa Businessman Dean Martin is the Republican nominee running for State Senate District 35. Dean won the Republican nomination on April 5th by acclamation and is excited to campaign hard from now until November.
“I grew up in Tulsa. I love my history and experience here. My desire is to see all levels of government positions filled with common-sense leaders who will do what is right. If the people of District 35 elect me to serve as their new State Senator, I will be their voice and I will stand firm for our shared values," said Dean.

Most of Martin’s career has been in sales and business management, but he’s always had an entrepreneurial drive. He and his family have started multiple small companies. Notably, the company he founded thirteen years ago, headquartered in Tulsa, is called Martin Pressure Systems International, LLC (MPSI). Since then, the company has accelerated and is doing business in more than fifteen states.
Dean is also a founding member and deacon of Crossroads Church in Bixby. He’s spent much of his life serving in missions. Recently, he returned from Uganda, Africa, where he and fellow Church members dedicated a new church, held a pastor’s conference, and organized a medical clinic for the native people outside of Masaka, Uganda. He and his wife, Tricia – a retired math teacher in the Tulsa Public School system, have five children together and thirteen grandchildren. Tricia taught for twenty-plus years at Wilson Middle School and five years at Will Rogers High School. In their spare time, the Martins enjoy spending time with their family, attending school events, golfing, and, interestingly – flying airplanes. Both Dean and Tricia are licensed private pilots.
“The Lord has blessed my business ventures, and I’m very fortunate to be in a spot where I can loan a portion of the campaign costs and spend the next eight months meeting District 35 families and constituents full-time. I see my candidacy as a job interview with the voters, and I want to ensure I can be effective for them in this role. I want to know their concerns and how I can solve problems to get our district in the best condition for future generations,” Martin exclaimed.
Traditional values are tethered to faith and morality. I will always uphold and protect the sanctity of life and ensure that every resource available is provided to struggling pregnant women and new mothers alike. I will also defend the God-given right to bear arms.
01
Pro-Life and Pro-2nd Amendment
Tax cuts and limited government intervention will spur economic growth. Our economy is suffering the effects of bad federal policy brought on by runaway spending. We can fight inflation with tax cuts to let people keep more of their hard-earned money.
02
Lower Taxes and Limited Government
We need to prioritize education excellence. Our teachers must have sufficient pay to be competitive regionally, our classrooms must have state-of-the-art equipment and books, and our education must be locally controlled. There is work to do here still, and I'll work with teachers and parents to improve outcomes.
03
Education Reform
Every contribution Oklahoma can make towards an energy-independent future will help reduce energy costs for Oklahomans everywhere. I will prioritize the continued development of Oklahoma's energy resources, including oil, natural gas, and renewable energy, to achieve energy independence and create new jobs.
04
Energy Independence
Bad federal policy has led to trillions in unnecessary spending, driving up prices while wage growth falls behind. This means less buying power at grocery stores, gas stations, and everywhere in between. I'll work on solutions to offset these bad fiscal decisions to combat rising costs of living.
